This project will improve pedestrian traffic lights across Tram Road.
Upgrade of Tram Road with the installation of a set of pedestrian traffic lights is expected to improve the safety for residents in Applewood. This initiative will ensure residents in Applewood Retirement Community and other parts of the community get across the road safer and more easily.
The Australian Government contribution is capped at $1 million.
The project is expected to commence in early 2021 and be completed in mid 2021
