Project Description

This project delivered pedestrian safety improvements by upgrading pedestrian traffic lights across Tram Road.


Upgrading Tram Road with the installation of a set of pedestrian traffic lights has improved the safety for road users, ensuring residents of Applewood Retirement Community and other parts of the community can cross Tram Road safely.


The Australian Government contributed $1 million to the project.


The project commenced constuction in March 2021 and was completed in July 2021.
