Project DescriptionThis project will upgrade Beams Road between Lacey Road and Handford Road, Carseldine. This road is part of a key corridor which connects Gympie Road to Sandgate Road, and provides access to local businesses and schools. The project will also complement other projects in the Bracken Ridge area. BenefitsIt is expected this project will provide improved accessibility, connectivity and productivity; and improved safety and travel times. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $50 million towards the project. TimetableThe project is expected to commence construction in early 2021 and be completed by early 2024. |
