Project Description

This project will upgrade Beams Road between Lacey Road and Handford Road, Bracken Ridge. This road is part of a key corridor which connects Gympie Road to Sandgate Road, and provides access to local businesses and schools. The project will also complement other projects in the Bracken Ridge area.

Benefits

It is expected this project will provide improved accessibility, connectivity and productivity; and improved safety and travel times.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $50 million towards the project.

Timetable

The delivery schedule for this project will be determined in consultation with Brisbane City Council.
