Project DescriptionThis project will upgrade the intersection of Williamson Road and Days Road in West Coomera. The upgrades will include the installation of traffic signals, a new left turn slip lane and traffic island on the Gym Road leg of the intersection, and pedestrian crossings on all four intersection legs and slip lanes.
BenefitsThe project will reduce congestion and improve traffic flow and commuter safety at this busy intersection. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $1 million to this $1.4 million project. TimetableThe project commenced construction in December 2020 and is expected to be compeleted by early 2021. |
