The project is expected to increase the capacity of the park and ride facilities in Heatherdale, through the construction of a multi-deck commuter car park.
This project is expected to improve efficiency and network reliability, reduce traffic congestion, improve travel times and support a more integrated and effective transport system by upgrading park and ride facilities at this location.
The Australian Government is contributing is $15 million to the project.
This project is expected to commence construction in early 2023 and be completed by late 2023.
