Project Description

The project will seal Bonang Road between Goongerah and Bonang in far east Gippsland, Victoria.


This project will improve traffic efficiency and safety for all road users.


The Australian Government has committed $9 million towards the project, as part of the Roads of Strategic Importance Initative.


Construction of Stage 1 commenced in February 2021 and was completed in May 2021. Stage 2 construction is expected to commence in late 2022 and to be completed by mid 2023.
