This project will deliver a new TfNSW compliant two-lane concrete bridge over Whipstick Creek along Mount Darragh Road, Wyndham in the Bega Valley. It will replace the current timber bridge, which is approaching the end of its serviceable life. The new bridge will ensure all traffic access along the route, including GML (General Mass Limit) heavy vehicles such as fully laden milk tankers, concrete trucks and cattle transports.
This project is expected to improve freight accessibility and load limits and increase local producer productivity.
The Australian Government has committed $2.4 million to this project.
The project commenced early works July 2021, and is expected to be completed by early 2023.
