Project Description

This Project will deliver a multi-storey car park near the Kingswood station, increasing the number of commuter car spaces.

The additional funding will ensure that the Project can deliver the maximum number of car spaces for the benefit of commuters, while maximising safety and contributing to place-making features, as well as integrating sustainable technologies and initiatives in the design.

-  Reduce congestion by taking cars off the roads.

-  Support a more integrated and effective transport system, through the provision of additional parking at Kingswood station.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $32 million to this Project. 

Timetable

This Project is expected to start construction in early 2023 and be finished by early 2024.
