Project Description
This project will deliver a new bridge crossing the Hawkesbury River between Richmond and North Richmond, bypasses of both town centres, and road upgrades. BenefitsThe project will:
- improve accessibility, connectivity and travel times
- increase road capacity
- improve road safety
- increase flood immunity
FundingThe Australian Government has committed up to $400 million towards the project. TimetablePlanning is underway with construction expected to commence in late 2022 and is expected to be completed in late 2026. |
