Project Description

The project will upgrade priority sections of the Newell Highway in New South Wales, to improve road safety and enhance productivity.

Benefits

Improve freight productivity, road safety, accessibility, connectivity and travel times.

Funding

The Australian Government will contribute up to 80 per cent, capped at $400 million.

Timetable

The delivery schedule will be determined as planning on the project progresses and in consultation with the NSW Government.
