Dixons Long Point Crossing, between Orange and Mudgee, includes unsealed sections of the road that are considered passable by four-wheel-drive only. Priority upgrades of the route will be informed by the Long Point Feasibility Study. The works will include reconstruction, widening, sealing and improvements to increase flood immunity along the route.
This project will improve community access and contribute to safety and efficiency for road users in this area.
The Australian Government contribution is capped at $16 million.
