Project DescriptionCurrently, there is a limited supply of parking spaces at Mandurah Station, south of Perth. Consequently commuters park on adjacent streets surrounding the station creating an overflow of cars and congestion for local residents.
The project constructed additional parking facilities at Mandurah Station to increase parking capacity and encourage greater use of public transport. BenefitsThe project will:
- provide a more integrated and effective transport system, through the provision of additional parking at stations
- improve amenities for the local community
FundingThe Australian Government has committed $16 million towards the project. TimetableThe project is complete and was open for public use on 29 November 2021. |
