Project Description

Upgrades to roads on the Northern Territory section of the Newman to Katherine road corridor involving strengthening, widening and resurfacing works on the Victoria Highway.

This project includes bituminous resurfacing on various sections between chainages 42 and 59km and pavement strengthening and widening and bituminous resurfacing between chainages 82 and 87km.

Funding

Works are funded under the Roads of Strategic Importance (ROSI) initiative. The Australian Government will contribute $8.5 million to the project.
