Project DescriptionThe Howard Creek Causeway on Tamborine-Oxenford Road is located approximately 11 kilometres west of Oxenford, between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This project will upgrade the Howard Creek Causeway to improve the safety of the road alignment and intersection layout and increase flood immunity for all road users. BenefitsThe project is expected to improve safety for all road users and improve efficiency and network reliability. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $8 million towards theĀ $10 million project, in partnership with the Queensland Government. TimetableConstruction on this project is expected to commence in early 2021 and be completed by late 2021. |
