Project Description

Road resurfacing in priority areas, including: Bass Highway, Arthur Highway, West Tamar Highway, Channel Highway, Bell Bay Main Road and Bridport Main Road.


This project will improve road safety and efficiency and network reliability for all road users and improve accessibility and connectivity of road networks.


The Australian Government is contributing $8 million and the Tasmanian Government $2 million to this project.


Construction is expected to commence in late 2020 and be completed by late 2021.
