Project DescriptionThe project will involve the strengthening or demolition of bridges on key routes identified for priority upgrades. The project is expected to improve the safety of bridges for the community and ensure local freight operators can continue to safely and efficiently move products around the state. BenefitsThe project will improve road safety for all road users and improve efficiency and network reliability. FundingThe Australian Government is contributing $2.0 million and the Tasmanian Government $0.5 million to this project. TimetableConstruction commenced in early 2021 and expected to be completed by mid 2021. |
