Project Description

This project will install speed activated signing directing vehicles to slow down or use arrestor beds on the steep descent into Adelaide.


Improved road safety for all road users.


The Australian Government has committed $4.1 million towards the total project costs of the $5.125 million. This is under an 80:20 arrangement with the South Australian Government.


Construction commenced in April 2021 and was completed in August 2021.
