Project Description

The package will deliver various safety improvement works on the Barkly Highway.


  • Improved road safety for all road users
  • Improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks


The Australian Government committed $3.9 million towards this $4.9 million project, in partnership with the Northern Territory Government.


Construction on the project started in early 2021 with construction to be completed by early 2022.
