Project DescriptionThe project involves widening two sections of the highway to an 11m seal width. The project will also upgrade intersections between Martin Ave and Willows Rd and other associated road safety works such as wide centre line treatment and audio tactile line marking to address identified accident types. BenefitsImproved road safety for all road users. FundingThe Australian Government has committed up to $30 million towards this project. TimetableThis project commenced construction in late 2020 and will be completed by late 2022, weather permitting. |
