Project Description

The project involves widening two sections of the highway to an 11m seal width. The project will also upgrade intersections between Martin Ave and Willows Rd and other associated road safety works such as wide centre line treatment and audio tactile line marking to address identified accident types.


Improved road safety for all road users.


The Australian Government has committed up to $30 million towards this project.


This project commenced construction in late 2020 and will be completed by late 2022, weather permitting.
