The project will upgrade 3 high priority sections of the D'Aguilar Highway between Sandy Creek and Kilcoy. The works will widen the road formation and seal width, install a wide centerline to separate opposing traffic flows and provide roadside hazards treatments to improve the safety of the road section.
The project is expected to deliver improved road safety for all road users.
The Australian Government has committed up to $15.2 million towards this project.
Construction is expected to commence in early 2022, with completion expected by late 2021, weather permitting.
