The project will deliver a series of targeted road safety works between Beaudesert and Wolffdene, south of Brisbane. These works will include improved line marking/signage, audio tactile line markings, removal of roadside hazards, localised road widening and safety barriers.
The project is expected to deliver the following benefits:
- Improved safety for all road users
- Improved traffic flow through the road network, reducing congestion
The Australian Government has committed up to $14.4 million towards this project.
Construction is expected to commence in late 2020, with completion expected by late 2021, weather permitting.
