Project Description

This project will involve various safety treatments at 30 high-speed and high-risk intersections that have a high rate of casualty crashes and are located on strategically important road. The upgrades are expected to include installation of turning lanes, splitter islands, street lighting and raised platforms.

Funding

The Australian Government is contributing $16 million and the Victorian Government is contributing $4 million.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence in June 2021 and be completed by June 2022.
