Project Description

This project will upgrade the Carnarvon Highway near Orange Hill by widening the pavement, lanes and shoulders of the road. Other upgrades include turn treatments at Lalors Lane, culvert extension and replacements and installation of additional warning signage.

  • Improved reliability and efficiency of freight movements


The Australian Government has committed $3.1 million to this project.


The project commenced in early 2021 and will be completed by late 2021, weather permitting.
