This project will upgrade the intersection of the Carnarvon Highway and Arcadia Valley Road. Upgrades will include lane and shoulder widening and improved intersection approach geometry to accommodate heavy vehicles. New road furniture will also be installed.

The Australian Government has committed $740,000 million to this project.
The project commenced in mid 2021 and was completed January 2022.
