Project Description

The project involves the upgrade of approximately 10km of Maryvale Road - between approximately chainages 10-20km - to a two lane sealed standard.


The project will deliver the following benefits:

  • Improved efficiency and network reliability
  • Improved connectivity between people with jobs and services, and goods with markets
  • Improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks
  • Improved road safety for all road users


The Australian Government has committed $9.3 million to the total cost of $11.6 million for this project.


Works on the phase one upgrade of Maryvale Road started in early 2021 andĀ completedĀ in late 2021.
