Project DescriptionThe project involves the upgrade of approximately 10km of Maryvale Road - between approximately chainages 10-20km - to a two lane sealed standard. BenefitsThe project will deliver the following benefits:
- Improved efficiency and network reliability
- Improved connectivity between people with jobs and services, and goods with markets
- Improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks
- Improved road safety for all road users
FundingThe Australian Government has committed $9.3 million to the total cost of $11.6 million for this project. TimetableWorks on the phase one upgrade of Maryvale Road started in early 2021 andĀ completedĀ in late 2021. |
