Project DescriptionThe project will progressively upgrade priority sections of Duncan Road and Gordon Downs Road including road and drainage improvements, sealing of flood ways and gravel sheeting. BenefitsThe project will improve the resilience of roads that service an aboriginal community, pastoral stations, and a dysprosium mine and production plant. FundingThe Australian Government has committed $40.8 million towards the $51 million project. TimetableConstruction began in late 2019 and is expected to be completed in late 2022. |
