The project will construct approximately 1.8km of new dual carriageway along Evandale Main Road from Launceston Airport to Breadalbane Roundabout including upgrades to key intersections and selected safety upgrades.

The Australian Government will contribute up to $13.4 million and the Tasmanian Govenment up to $3.3 million towards this project.
The project is expected to commence in early 2021 and be completed by mid 2022.
