The project will deliver road surface rehabilitation treatments to the Gore Highway between Pittsworth and Millmerran, including sealing, waterproofing, reinforced seals and reinforced overlays.
The project is expected to improve safety and network resilience for all road users.
The Australian Government has commited $13.6 million to the $17.0 million project.
Construction commenced in early 2021, with completion expected in mid 2023.
