Project Description

This project involves construction of a 1,800 metre rail siding with slip road infrastructure to facilitate rail loading and storage capability of the NSW Inland Port logistics and Freight Hub.

The Australian Government funding complements the existing NSW Government commitment of $16.8 million to the Hub.



  • Improved connectivity between people with jobs and services, and goods with markets
  • Improved freight productivity (and access to freight gateways)
  • Improved freight rail services
  • Infrastructure work to deliver the rail siding and slip road is expected to support 50 direct and indirect jobs based on the Department's estimate.


The Australian Government has committed $7.8 million towards the project.


Construction commencement and completion date to be confirmed.
