Project Description

The Inland Rail project interfaces with national, state and regional roads. This project will enable additional grade separations on the alignment.


  • Improved road safety for all road users
  • Improved efficiency and network reliability
  • Improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks


The Australian Government has committed $150 million towards the project.


Construction is expected to commence mid 2021 and be completed by mid 2023.
