Project DescriptionThis project involves the upgrade of the existing intersection at Hogbin Drive and Christmas Bells Road. This includes the design and construction of a two lane roundabout. It will cater for the expected increase in heavy vehicle traffic associated with the development of Enterprise Park, near the Coffs Harbour Airport. BenefitsThe upgrade will ensure safer and more efficient vehicle access into and out of Enterprise Park. It will deliver improved freight access to the airport, reduce congestion for the local community and improve safety for all road users. FundingThe Australian Government has committed to fund up to 80 per cent of the final cost of this project, up to a total Australian Government contribution of $3 million. TimetableConstruction is expected to commence in mid-2022 and be completed by the end of 2022. |
