Project Description

The project will upgrade the southbound off-ramp at Exit 45 on the M1 Pacific Motorway in Ormeau.

This will include: construction of a new southbound off-ramp to Lahrs Road, construction of a new signalised intersection at Lahrs Road and Zupp Drive, provision of a cycle lane on the eastern side of Lahrs Road, removal of the southbound off-ramp leg from the eastern rounabout, and new signalised metering for the Creek Street, Eggersdorf Road and Lahrs Road approaches to the eastern rounabout.

Funding

The Australian Government has committed $10 million towards the project.

Timetable

Construction is expected to commence late 2021 and be completed by early 2022.
