This project has realigned the Western Highway at Nhill to increase the distance between the highway and nearby railway line.
The project is expected to improved safety for all road users improve transport network efficiency and productivity.
The Australian Government is fully funding the project as part of the Roads of Strategic Importance Initative.
Construction commenced in early 2022 and was completed in September 2022.
