This project involves upgrading approximately 10 kilometres of Purlewaugh Road, and the provision of a safer east west connection between Coonabarabran and Quirindi.
- improved road safety for all road users;
- improved efficiency and network reliability; and
- improved accessibility and connectivity of road networks.
The Australian Government has committed $2.4 million to this project.
The project is expected to commence late 2021, and be completed mid 2022.
