Project Description

One of the 13 Infrastructure Australia priority projects is the ‘Adelaide Level Crossings Congestion and Safety’, this project is to focus on the Adelaide level crossings and establish a Ten year Level Crossing Removal Program.


Benefits of the planning study include prioritisation of level crossing upgrades and identify upgrade options and business cases.


Total investment expected is $10 million under a 50:50 arrangement.


The planning program is expected to commence in mid-2022 and be completed by late 2023.
