Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The sheeting on approaches to the grid has worn away. Approach wasn't ramped when built. This has resulted in dangerous road conditions.Building ramps either side of the approaches to the grid & resheeting road 200 metres either side of grid.

Donohue Highway (Rural Road) - 051572-13QLD-RTR
This section has been damaged by Road Trains bringing cattle from the Northern Territory to Queensland for sale because of the prevailing drought conditions. Sections have turned to bulldust because of the lack of rain to compact the road. Other sections have been rutted. This has resulted in dangerous road conditions.It is proposed to water, grade & roll the road to bring it to an acceptable level. The total project cost is $255,000 including $127,500 of TIDS funding. R2R funding will be $55,976 & Council will contribute the balance of $71,524.Total cost of proposed project is $310,889
Quellington Road, York - 051575-13WA-RTR
Section of narrow road pavement deteriorating and collapsing under heavy truck traffic.Section of pavement 300 metres long upgraded and replaced to 9.0 metre formation and 7.0 metre seal on Quellington Road between 14.85 kilometres and 15.15 kilometres as measured from York Northam Road, York.Total cost of proposed project is $31,631
Magnolia Street, Blackall - 051585-13QLD-RTR
To construct a new road into the new residential estate in Blackall to allow residents access to the new blocks of land which have been released for sale.To construct new road from formation through to pave and bitumen seal. Length of 120 metres and 6 metre widthTotal cost of proposed project is $99,866
Ivy Street, Blackall - 051590-13QLD-RTR
Gravel road impassible in wet weather.It is proposed to extend Ivy Street through the Blackall Industrial Estate and join it up to a new extension of St Andrews Street, so that users of the Industrial Estate have an all weather access road from the Industrial Estate into/out of town without having to enter the CBD or residential areas. Previous work entailed formation of road and provision of adequate drainage, however road is at present a formed dirt road which is unusable in wet weatherConstruct all weather access road from creation of pavement to a bitumen seal. Length 440 metres width 6 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $492,372
St Andrews Street Blackall - 051591-13QLD-RTR
Gravel road impassable in wet weather.It is proposed to extend St Andrews Street to join with Ivy Street and provide all weather access road into/out of Industrial Estate with need to enter CBD or residential areas. Previous work entailed formation of road and provision of adequate drainage, however the road is still a dirt road and is unusable in wet weather. Construct new all weather access road from creation of pavement to a bitumen seal. Length 140 metres and width 6 metres.
Enterprise Road, Pine Creek - 051592-13NT-RTR
Major failure of existing road and culvert structure. The existing road has been inundatated from previous flood events and wash outs created holes in excess of 1m in depthComplete reconstruction of pavement from subgrade level, repairs to culverts and sealing worksTotal cost of proposed project is $511,515
Brownes Lane, Rosewhite - 051594-13VIC-RTR
Loss of pavement material, pot holes and rutting to be repaired.Gravel pavement resheeting for two sections of road being 1505m long x 5m wide and 360m long x 4m wide.
Diamantina Lakes - 051595-13QLD-RTR
Existing road is gravel and requires resheeting. Currently creates dust and visibility issues in the dry and access issues when it rainsResheet of 5kms of the roadTotal cost of proposed project is $124,154
