Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Jane Street, Willaston SA 5118 - 114445-21SA-RTR
The road exhibits serious pavement defects and issues beyond the scope of periodic maintenance intervention, including heavy rutting, crocodile cracking, surface depressions due to existing thin and weak road base and surface stormwater drainage and ponding issues on the road over the years, as there was no underground Stormwater drainage system until up to two years ago.Reconstruct the road pavement thicker and strong using standard pavement materials, seal the reconstructed road pavement with 30mm thick asphalt surface layer and line mark at intersections.Total cost of proposed project is $215,480
Hillier Road, Evanston SA 5116 - 114446-21SA-RTR
Existing sealed road surface is at end of service life. Road surface has worn out losing its stones and bitumen binding and become rough and uneven affecting the ride ability on the road. Cracks, potholes and depressions appear on the road. Sections of kerb and gutter are cracked, crushed or lifted.Renew damaged kerb and gutter sections, repair defect areas of the road pavement and resurface the road with a new asphalt concrete layer.Total cost of proposed project is $159,301
Finke Road (Alice Springs - Rural Local) - 114374-21NT-RTR
Finke Road is a major access for Finke Community and connects cattle stations with Stuart Highway. There are numerous sandy blowouts, rough and corrugated sections and the road is closed for several days in wet season. The road has boundaries with many pastoral properties with cattle grazing areas. There are existing gates to stop cattle wandering on the road but due to vandalism these gates often left open and let the animals wandering on the road and can cause vehicle crashes hit by animals. Replacing gates with grids will stop the animals access to road.Remove gate and replace with grid.
Mulga Park Road (Alice Springs - Rural Local) - 114386-21NT-RTR
Mulga Park Road is a well used road for the cattle transport and tourism industries and has a high proportion of indigenous communities traffic. A significant volume of traffic is triple road trains for cattle haulage, community stores and mining exploration.The road section traverses winding sand dune and rocky hill country, with numerous creek crossings and worn formation. It also has lost gravel and exposed to natural surface. In wet weather, water ponding closes the road for short to medium periods. The road has been the subject of numerous near misses and accidents.Lift and gravel resheeting
Finke Road (Alice Springs - Rural Local) - 114376-21NT-RTR
