Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

When the road has had 15 millimetres of rain it is unable to be used due to the road being mostly black soil with some gravel. The proposed works will allow cattle transport and station owners to have further access to the road during the wet season. This will also reduce the maintenance costs for Council.Preparation light formation works followed by gravel re sheeting and sealing. Formation 6m Seal 5m.
Old Normanton Road, Julia Creek. - 116569-21QLD-RTR
Existing Concrete structure has exceeded its useful structural life cycle and is likely to fail imminently. The proposed floodway restoration will accommodate improved flood resilience without amending the current highwater level (not increase the hydraulic loading of the existing floodway), this will allow for increase serviceability and public amenity without impacting on the overall serviceability of the existing onleads road transport infrastructure.Upgrade Floodway addition of low flow culvert and increased floodway heightTotal cost of proposed project is $792,000

Robinson Street is the main street in Carnarvon CBD. Robinson Street pavement has failed due to ground water ingress. Has led to asphalt surfacing failure.Remove existing seal and pavement. Install new pavement and seal. May require concrete or concrete stabilised pavement to prevent future ground water ingress. To maintain CBD access may require night work.

Road surface is breaking up in sections and requiring corrections of deformation and potholes.Reform sub-base, gravel sheet, stabilise and seal road
Church Street, Girgarre - 116381-21VIC-RTR
The kerb and channel is old and not functioning properly causing storm water build upReplacement of 178m section of kerb and channel. This section has been identified as requiring renewal based on condition and prioritised based on condition assessments

Graham Road, Kyabram - 116385-21VIC-RTR
Rehabilitation of the existing pavement as it has reached intervention level, it is described as being in very poor condition with serviceability now being affected and increased maintenance costs.Work will be carried out to rehabilitate the pavement and apply an new bitumen and wearing aggregate (stone) surface (600m x 6m)Total cost of proposed project is $243,040
