Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Glencoe Road (Rural Road) - 117104-21NSW-RTR
The road has a damaged existing gravel driving surface with road base and sub-base deterioration facilitating minor drainage repairs.Initially accomplish minor drainage repairs as needed followed by required base and sub-base layer stabilisation where required. Gravel re-sheeting is completed to improve the road surface.

Mitre Street, Bathurst - 117065-21NSW-RTR
Poor pavement conditionMill to a depth of 100mm and replace with Asphalt.
Mackay Street, Wangaratta - 116993-21VIC-RTR
The project has been identified to address the community concerns identified through a high number of customer requests received in relation to drainage issues and vehicle safety concerns relating to the intersection at MacKay and Rowan Street’s, Wangaratta. Existing drainage is not sufficiently capturing stormwater runoff. The drainage is in poor condition and has been impacted by existing Plane trees. Leaf litter and root damage are blocking the drainage network, creating a significant flood issue in frequent rain fall events.• Drainage network upgrade along MacKay Street to improve water capture and reduce frequent flash flooding in high rainfall events. • Installation of new kerb and channel. • Installation of new road pavement along MacKay Street and the service lane of Rowan Street.
Rosewood Rd (SR53) - Rural Road - 117138-21NSW-RTR
Unsealed road. Poor shape, drainage and safety.Maintenance Grade road to improve shape and safety.
Carnarvon Mullewa Road (rural road) - 116909-21WA-RTR
A total of four redundant cattle grids on Carnarvon Mullewa Road are deteriorating. Grid rails have experienced welding and steel cracking failures. Risk to road users of steel grid sections failing creating a serious road hazard. Concrete grid abutments have experienced cracking and subsidence. Creates uneven grid surfaces with sharp dips or rises experienced by drivers creating a vehicle loss of control hazard.Remove all four redundant cattle grids from the roadway in the nominated section of road. Remove all grid signage and width markers. Remove steel grid rails and dispose as recyclable scrap metal. Excavate and fully remove concrete grid abutments. Install PVC conduit to accommodate existing irrigation lines that pass through grids. Reinstate and compact road foundation material. Install and compact cement stabilised MRWA specification roadbase pavement material to 200mm compacted depth. Install minimum 40mm compacted depth cold asphalt as surface seal.Total cost of proposed project is $49,761
