Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

The existing section of road only has a primer seal.Apply a coat of final seal on top of the primer seal to extend the seal life.

Aged bitumen has deteriorated forming cracks and potholes creating a safety risk for usersReseal section of road 320m in length by 6m in width
Felltimber Creek Road, Wodonga - 117973-21VIC-RTR
Age related deterioration of sealed road surface has resulted in loss of stone, oxidation of the bitumen, cracking, and isolated areas of pavement failure including roughness and breaking up of pavement surface due to ingress of moisture. Proposed reseal shall form a waterproof barrier to prevent the road pavement from becoming wet and prevent the formation of potholes and shall improve skid resistance.It is proposed to reseal the full pavement area with a minimum 10mm bituminous seal and asphalt intersections, works will include patching in preparation of reseal .Total cost of proposed project is $84,195
Anzac Parade, Wodonga - 117972-21VIC-RTR
Road pavement shows significant areas of failure, including shoving, cracking and displacement. High maintenance costs associated with ongoing inspection and repair. Road safety associated with uneven and shoved pavement.Road reconstruction, including removal and replacement of 3350sqm of existing old and failed wearing course/pavement & subgrade replacement as required. Prepare and place new 50mm asphalt overlay and reinstate linemarking to suit.Total cost of proposed project is $313,386
Kilphysic Road (Rural Unsealed) - 117985-21NSW-RTR
Gravel surface is narrow, the pavement thickness is inadequate with sections showing signs of black soil progressing through the pavement. Safety issues for small vehicles when vehicles are accessing the road.Re-sheet pavement to a depth of 100mm overlay to improve pavement strength and improve safety for stakeholders
Old Glenorchy Road, Glenorchy - 118033-21VIC-RTR
Reseal the section of road to increase road safety and ensure the road life is sustained.Road to be resealed to improve safety.
Stanley Street, Campsie - 117994-21NSW-RTR
Traffic island on Stanley St damaged by trucks, left only turn signs missing and the existing intersection is to narrow.Replaced failed traffic island, widen Stanley St to accommodate additional left turn lane and pavement rehabilitation at and near the intersection. Proposed intersection and road pavement improvement works is endorsed by Council and the Traffic Committee.Total cost of proposed project is $75,056
Northcliffe Road, Edithvale - 118017-21VIC-RTR
This road has deterioration caused by water sitting on the road pavement and along the kerb and channel. The existing asphalt road pavement has large cracks and general unevenness causing an inadequate ride for all road users. Northcliffe Road incorporate significant drainage upgrade along with the road reconstruction.The Proposed scope of works will involve, Reconstruct the existing road pavement together with upgrade of street drainage, replacement of kerb and channel vehicle crossings and footpath.Total cost of proposed project is $810,000
Isabella Street, Moorabbin - 118018-21VIC-RTR
Road pavement is in poor condition it has extensive cracking rutting and heaving failures and asphalt re-sheet is required. The works also include construction of footpath as well as drainage upgrade works, traffic treatment is also required for kerb and channel.Works will include the reconstruction of the road pavement, drainage, vehicle crossing, footpaths.Total cost of proposed project is $750,000
Ellis Road (rural road) - 118040-21NSW-RTR
poor road condition due to loss of gravel making road dusty in dry weather and slippery in wet conditions.gravel resheet with gravel 100mm thick and 7 meters wideTotal cost of proposed project is $305,175
