Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Mount Grace Road (Rural Road) - 060116-15NSW-RTR
Road has deteriorated due to loss of gravel causing rutting, corrugations and exposure of larger stones. The route is an important route for stock and grain harvest and becomes dangerous in wet weather.Supply, spread and compact 150 mm of gravel.
Mount Gap Road (Rural Road) - 060122-15NSW-RTR
Road has a natural surface formation which becomes impassable in wet weather. Gravel sheeting will improve access for light and heavy vehicles.Supply, spread and compact 150 mm of crushed gravel
Budda Road (Rural Road) - 060123-15NSW-RTR
Existing concrete pipe culverts have moved due to flood waters over several years. The pipe joints have opened up allowing the road formation over the culverts to be eroded away and creating potholes in the sealed road surface.The existing pipes will be correctly realigned and the joints sealed. The road surface will then be repaired and resealed.
Nelyambo Bridge Road (Rural Road) - 060124-15NSW-RTR
The existing bridge approaches have been eroded as a result of flood waters over several years and the guardrail has settled.The existing guardrail will be removed. The bridge approaches will be reformed, stabalised and sealed, with embankment protection installed on the approaches. The guardrail will then be reinstated.
Belarabon Road (Rural Road) - 060125-15NSW-RTR
Sealed road surface has reached end of economic life and has significant surface cracking.Reseal approximately 1 km of sealed road.Total cost of proposed project is $56,474
The Grain Road (Rural Road) - 060126-15NSW-RTR
The sealed road surface has reached the end of its economic life and has significant surface cracking and potholing.Reseal approximately 1.1 km of sealed road
Templeton Street (Woodend) - 060129-15VIC-RTR
The existing roadway has a narrow seal of 4.0m and the pavement has significant failures throughout.The road will be widened to 6.0m with kerb and channel constructed on both sides to match with surrounding roads in the township.Total cost of proposed project is $162,121
Brinkley Road - 060130-15SA-RTR
The intersection of Brinkley Road and Old Swanport Road is located on the edge of the Murray Bridge Township and both roads have a posted speed limit of 80km/h. There have been several 90 degree collisions at the intersection and as a result State Black Spot have funded 2/3 of the project to install a round-about.Install a B-Double compliant round-about at the intersection of Brinkley and Old Swanport Road to prevent vehicles form not stopping and provide priorityTotal cost of proposed project is $906,493
Fisher Street (Gisborne) - 060131-15VIC-RTR
The pavement has significant failures due to poor drainage infrastructure located on the northern side of the roadways.Construct new kerb and channel on the northern side of the roadway, install new underground drainage and place new asphalt surface over the roadway.Total cost of proposed project is $88,524
Busty Road, Apollo Bay - 060133-15VIC-RTR
Weak pavement, re-establish seal, inadequate drainage, combat erosion.Provide a 200mm overlay to average 4.3m width (pavement width is increased on bends compared to straights), improve drainage, install culverts and renwe culverts, install rock beaching to culvert outlets.
