Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Martin Street, St Kilda - 119303-22VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspection and customer requests. The pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Resurfacing this road will improve road performance with regards to strength and riding quality.40mm thick size 10 asphalt wearing course along 153metre and 7.2metre width (Area = 1101.6 m2)
Park Street, South Melbourne - 119304-22VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspection and customer requests. The pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Resurfacing this road will improve road performance with regards to strength and riding quality.40mm thick size 10 asphalt wearing course along 222metre and 8.9metre width (Area = 1975.8 m2)
Richardson Street, Middle Park - 119305-22VIC-RTR
Deformed asphalt surface has been identified through road inspection and customer requests. The pavement surface has changed from the originally constructed profile which may directly influence the riding quality, water ponding and skid resistance. Resurfacing this road will improve road performance with regards to strength and riding quality.40mm thick size 10 asphalt wearing course along 145metre and 11.8 metre width (Area = 1710 m2)
Upper Brid Road, South Springfield - 119298-22TAS-RTR
The current gravel surface has degraded due to weather and traffic movements requiring a new gravel surface to extend pavement life and improve public safety.Apply a layer of surface gravel 5m wide 100mm deep to restore running surface.Total cost of proposed project is $217,000
Dalby Nungil Road, Brymaroo - 119290-22QLD-RTR
This 1.6 km section of road has been identified by Toowoomba Regional Council asset management system as requiring pavement rehabilitation works. The road is in poor condition and features rutting and shape loss.Rehabilitate the pavement to a minimum 6.0m formation and 4.0m seal widthTotal cost of proposed project is $1,602,000
Mittagong Yerong Creek Road (rural road) - 119316-22NSW-RTR
Culvert crossing too narrow for heavy vehicles and unsafe for road users.Widen culvert crossing to 8.50m.Total cost of proposed project is $226,808
Perup Road (rural road) - 119321-22WA-RTR
The existing road generally has a seal width of 4 metres and the surface has many edge breaks pot holes and deformations. The existing culverts are formed with butt joint pipes that have moved resulting in road pavement deformation in the vicinity of the pipe joints. Some trees may be situated too close to the road shoulder.Undertake a feature survey of the full width of the existing road corridor to enable an engineering redesign of the road; identify and remove any trees that are within the proposed road corridor, remove and replace stormwater culverts as required the form the road table drains and subgrade as per the new design then import, spread and compact gravel to form an 8 metre wide pavement and place a 6 metre wide bitumen spray seal. Replace or reinstate road side signage and place new guideposts.Total cost of proposed project is $526,388
Wanganella Moulamein Road (rural road) - 119306-22NSW-RTR
Existing road surface is uneven with failures requiring reconstructionReconstruction of the existing road including strengthening of the base and pavement and then sealing the road. Where necessary the drainage assets will be replaced to ensure water is directed away from the roadTotal cost of proposed project is $825,098
Parker Road - Rural Road - 118972-22WA-RTR
Road is of poor formation and due to increase in trucks for carting of primary producer produce, road requires an upgrade to a 7m bitumen wide road for safety to all usersReconstruct road surface with new gravel sub base to 200mm thickness, apply first coat of bitumen with 14mm aggregate and then apply a second coat bitumen seal using 10mm aggregate.Total cost of proposed project is $280,000
Dick Street, Deniliquin - 119358-22NSW-RTR
Existing road is uneven with failures requiring reconstruction. Existing kerb and gutter is not functioning with water pooling damaging the roadReconstruction of the road including strengthening the existing road through stabilization and construction of a new base course, resealing the roadTotal cost of proposed project is $507,479
