Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Sedan Dip Road, Cloncurry, - 120503-22QLD-RTR
The existing pavement formationis deteriorating and is considered insufficient for the traffic volume and heavy vehicle usage. Existing pavement is required to be rehabilitated and replaced with a new pavement of a suitable standard to withstand the current traffic demands, extending the asset life of this section of road.Removal of existing pavement, rehabilitate sub-base (including insitu stabilisation) and replace with a 2 coat seal.Total cost of proposed project is $1,493,051
Mackellar Street, Benalla - 120554-22VIC-RTR
Road surface is deteriorating through loss of stone and oxidation and has cracking and potholes that are becoming a hazard and allowing water to penetrate through to the subbase in order to preserve the asset.Crack sealing, pot hole fixing and restoration work to restore surface of road prior to resealing in FY22/23Total cost of proposed project is $71,844
Mars Street - 120548-22WA-RTR
pavement condition audit identified high 'non-structural cracking' over a very high extent. 'Asphalt and Binder Condition' also rates poorly due to old age (31 years).Rehabilitation of road pavement to meet asset management requirements. Mill and fill existing asphalt road surface. Replacement of kerb and tie-in of crossovers.Total cost of proposed project is $86,570
Raleigh Street - 120549-22WA-RTR
pavement condition audit identified 'structural cracking' and 'non-structural cracking' over a wide extent. 'Asphalt and Binder Condition' also rates poorly due to old age (31 years).Rehabilitation of road pavement to meet asset management requirements. Mill and fill existing asphalt road surface. Replacement of kerb and tie-in of crossovers.Total cost of proposed project is $184,765
Milnes Creek Drive, Wangaratta - 120557-22VIC-RTR
Road pavement and road wearing course have failed and reached intervention levelConstruct full width road seal and pavement, extending from lip to kerb to lip of kerb. The works include excavation and removal of existing road pavement, construction of 200mm sub base and 160mm base Class 2 crushed rock and construction of 40mm Asphalt wearing course.

Between the central 7m and the lip of the gutter on both sides mill 50 mm and then pave 50 mm AC14. For the 280m up to Rocky Point Road mill full width 50mm deep then pave 50mm AC14.Total cost of proposed project is $348,000
Murdoch Road Service Road, Wangaratta - 120558-22VIC-RTR
Water pooling on road due to failure of existing kerb and channelPropose to reinstate 338 m of kerb and channel. The works include installation of concrete vehicle crossings, sub drainage, replacement of kerb and channel and construction of asphalt overlay including saw cut, removal, application of prime seal and 30mm thick asphalt to a width between 1.0m and 3.20m.
Larkings Street, Wangaratta - 120559-22VIC-RTR
Water pooling on road due to failure of exiting kerb and channelPropose to replace 629 m of B2 kerb and channel. The works include installation of concrete vehicle crossings, sub drainage, replacement of B2 kerb and channel and construction of 300mm wide asphalt overlay including saw cut, removal, application of prime seal and 30mm thick asphalt to a width between 1.0 m and 7.50 m.
