Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Emu Hill East Road (Rural Road) - 101499-19WA-RTR
The current single seal needs widening as this road provides access to both the airstrip and the cemetery and the amount of traffic on the road is providing a number of safety concerns. The safety of road users should be significantly improved.Reconstruct and widening of the Emu Hill East Road in the areas with cemetery and airstrip access.
Cowan Road (Rural Road) - 101500-19WA-RTR
The road is severely rutted and has severe gravel loss, the base is failing causing safety and drainage issues.Reform the road and water table, undertake drainage repairs and gravel re-sheeting.
Hartley Street - between Gregory Terrace and Parson Street - ALICE SPRINGS - 100893-19NT-BS
New street lighting has to be installed at 3 pedestrian crossings along Hartley Street to provide lighting for pedestrians safety at night.
Girraween Road - Hillier Road - GIRRAWEEN - 100892-19NT-BS
Upgrade existing Giraween Road and Hillier Road intersection to a combined rural Channelised Right Turn/ Auxiliary Left Turn layout intersection
First Street - south-east of Lindsay Street - KATHERINE - 100891-19NT-BS
Relocate pedestrian crossing, extend kerb and median islands at roundabout (speed reduction), install four speed cushions, warning signs, repaint line marking, install pedestrian fencing on First Street
Central Arnhem Road - through the community of Beswick - BESWICK - 100890-19NT-BS
Install streetlighting and upgrade pedestrian facilities
Stuart Highway - between Temple Terrace and Palmerston Indigenous Village - FARRAR - 100889-19NT-BS
Installation of two sections of guardrail to the outbound verge
Bonson Terrace - from Elrundie Avenue to Tilston Avenue - MOULDEN - 100888-19NT-BS
Replace existing halogen luminaires (28 units) with LEDs
East Point Road - Lampe Terrace - FANNIE BAY - 100887-19NT-BS
Install wide median refuge/traffic island on East Point Road just north of Lampe St with path links to both sides to improve sight lines to pedestrians and control vehicle speeds and alignment through the intersection
Yan Yean Road at Hazel Glenn Drive and Mitchells Run DOREEN - 101077-19VIC-BS
Install traffic signals at Hazel Glen Drive, amend Mitchells Run to left in/left out only at Yan Tean Rd
