Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Nicholas Street, Beverley - 101642-19WA-RTR
This section of road was upgraded to a seven metre seal in 2017/2018. This year will see the primer seal receive its Final Seal with 14mm stone.The Final Seal is from Straight Line Kilometre 0.96 to 2.84. This section will be sealed to a width of 6.5 metres with 14mm stone.
Harvey Road - Northampton - 101733-19WA-RTR
Section of road is very undulating and forms part of an approved long vehicle truck combinations not exceeding 27.5 meters. Also due to the hilly area drainage off the road is a constant issue requiring constant maintenance, to allow the truck combinations to safely travel on this section of the road. The road has a mix of heavy haulage, school bus and general residents.Reconstruct the remaining unsealed section and apply a bitumen seal to a width of 7.2m using for the first coat 14mm aggregate and the second coat using 12mm aggregate. Install road side drainage.
Horry Road, Rural - 101791-19WA-RTR
Section of road has steep gradients which is a safety concern for 27.5metre long vehicles on this road mixed with school bus and general residents within the area. Following wet weather conditions road surface has deep ruts across it which is also a safety factor and requires ongoing road maintenance grading.Reconstruct the section, apply a 7.2metre wide bitumen seal using 14mm aggregate for the first coat and 10mm aggregate for the second coat. Seal will resolve ruts in road surface and provide truck combinations with a better road surface.Total cost of proposed project is $464,000
Thornton Street - Northampton - 101795-19WA-RTR
Section of Street is unsealed and has a steep gradient which is causing drainage issues to both the road surface and adjoining properties. With new residences being constructed near these roads recently, street needs to be upgraded. Please contact me should you wish to further discuss this matter.Reconstruct the section and apply a bitumen seal to a width of 10metres using a 14mm aggregate for the first coat and 10mm aggregate for the second coat, install 575 meters of concrete kerbing for drainage control by diverting water runoff into existing drainage infrastructureTotal cost of proposed project is $25,120
Erwood Road- Northampton - 101736-19WA-RTR
Section of the street is unsealed and has steep gradients which is having drainage issues to both the road and adjoining properties. With new residences being constructed on this Street recently, areas need to be upgraded.Reconstruct and apply a two coat bitumen seal to a width of 10 meters, install concrete kerbing on each side to direct water run off to existing drainage infrastructure.Total cost of proposed project is $75,360
O'Brien Road, Ultima - 101702-19VIC-RTR
The existing limestone pavement has worn away causing surface to become uneven, potholed and rutted.Work Proposed is to place 100 millimetres of limestone onto the existing surface to restore the running surface to the road. Total length of the project is 3.1 kilometres at 6 metres wide.
Koorkab Road, Annuello - 101703-19VIC-RTR
The existing limestone pavement has worn away causing surface to become uneven, potholed and rutted.Work Proposed is to place 100 millimetres of limestone onto the existing surface to restore the running surface to the road. Total length of the project is 4.5 kilometres at 6 metres wide.

Langi Kal Kal Road (Rural Road Trawalla) - 101721-19VIC-RTR
Inadequate road drainage causes ponding and inundation of the road during flood events which impacts the narrow and failed pavementStrengthening, widening and reconstruction of road pavement. Improvement to the road drainageTotal cost of proposed project is $747,606
Eurambeam Streatham Rd (Rural Road Beaufort) - 101724-19VIC-RTR
Narrow seal and failed pavementStrengthen, widen and reconstruction of pavementTotal cost of proposed project is $343,776
