Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Bejoording Road (Rural Road) - 102327-19WA-RTR
The narrow seal width pushes people at high speed off the road and onto the gravel shoulder, creating safety and maintenance issues. Heavy vehicle turning onto Bejoording Road from Nunile Road bring up gravel across the unconstructed intersection and damage the single coat seal from the turning manoeuvres.reconstruct and widen the existing seal to 7.0 metres. Maintain the gravel shoulders, improve road drainage and add delineation. Nunile -Bejoording Road intersection is to be asphalted 40mm thick
Atley Station Access Road (Rural Road) - 102744-19WA-RTR
Station access has been cut off several times due to poor drainage and lack of gravel on the road and station owner not being able to exit or access there property.Install drainage levee banks and install new offshoot drains and stabilised floodway, re-gravel areas as required.
Sandstone- Meekatharra Road (Rural Road) - 102739-19WA-RTR
Formation and gravel in this location is in poor condition and in need of re-sheeting, vegetation has over grown and where required will be removed, guide post and signage aging and missing.Gravel re-sheet, removal of vegetation where required, installation of guide post and signage where required
Yeelirrie Rd (Rural Road) - 102735-19WA-RTR
Flooding has occurred several times in the past at this location, thus having the road closed for several days and weeks for repairs, and having the traveling public using this road doing long detours to get to there intended destination.Cement stabilise the exiting floodway, install culvert pipes, install rock armour to edges and spray seal floodway to stop erosion.

Existing seal deteriorated with increased traffic volumes. Reseal required to preserve road asset.Bitumen spray seal applied with 7mm aggregate
Gascoyne Road, Carnarvon - 102759-19WA-RTR

Kenley Road, Kenley - 101704-19VIC-RTR
The problem being addressed is the increase in heavy vehicles has identified the need to widen Kenley Road to 6.2 metres. There has been a motor vehicle accident resulting in a fatality and a police report indicated the need to widen the road to 6.2 metres wide.Reconstruct existing 3.9 metre wide pavement and increase width to 6.2 metres to allow for increased truck traffic. Length 1.5 kilometres.
