Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Shortcut Road – Dargo - 104339-19VIC-RTR
Bridge deck and abutments are at the end of useful lifeConstruct a single lane bridge with concrete deck and steel or concrete sub structure. Constructed to T44 loading
Willow Bend Road (rural road) - 104326-19NSW-RTR
Existing formation is narrow and deformed. It has reached the end of its economic life. The road is used a a heavy vehicle bypass during flood events in the Lachlan River and present a safety hazard for heavy vehicles.Widen and overlay existing the existing formation. Stabilize and seal the new formation to an 8 metre seal width.
Foster Street, Lake Cargelligo - 104307-19NSW-RTR
The existing road formation is deformed with extensive cracking in the pavement. This pavement has reached the end of its economic life.Council will installed new stormwater drainage prior to the existing pavement being removed and the formation mixed and stabilized, The new formation will then be sealed and overlaid with asphaltic concrete.Total cost of proposed project is $3,600,000
Airport Road, Erub Island - 104139-19QLD-RTR
The deterioration of pavement and road formation in various locations between chainages 0.16 km to 3.96 km east of Intersection of Road 9. There is pavement failures and cracking in various locations causing rutting, loss of seal and deformation of road formation.Between the Chainages 0.16km to 0.35km, to the east of intersection of Road 9, the road will be reconstructed with a concrete pavement and reconstruction of pavement failures to be undertaken in various locations from Chainage 0.43km to 3.96km east of the intersection of Road 9.Total cost of proposed project is $1,966,047
Duncan Road (Rural road) - 104345-19WA-RTR
Road formation and unsealed gravel surface is worn, degraded and losing shape. Drainage in area is poor and requires additional roadside drainage assets.Reform and resheet road formation, upgrade roadside drainage including table drains, offshoot drains and cement stabilise floodways
Lundja Community Road (Rural road) - 104344-19WA-RTR
Sealed road pavement is failing and losing shape in specific locations. Several road segments have potholes which are accelerating in size and extent. Seal edge is worn and there is extensive edge breaks along the majority of both sides of the road.Edge patching of the full length of the road. Patching of isolated potholes. Reconstruction of full width of sealed pavement in the worst areas. Full width reseal for full length of road.
Lake Newton (Rural Road) - 104308-19WA-RTR
Most of this road is situated in a floodway low lying with lack of drainage and lack of gravel.Reconstruction of the road improving suitability for heavy and light vehicles including all road access for the school bus. Gravel sheeting including stabilisation through floodways, drainage addressed removal and control of vegetation to improve line of site installation of signage to meet Main Roads Specifications.
Biddy Camm (Rural Road) - 104325-19WA-RTR
This section of Biddy Camm Road is very narrow in sections and includes a curve in the road that the formation is currently unsafe and not clear as to what is Biddy Camm Road and what is an access to a private property. The floodway to be upgraded, drainage to the sides of the road, signage, lack of drainage culverts, sections requiring gravel resheeting. School bus route.Gravel resheet Biddy Camm Road, improve drainage and line of site, cut new drains, backslopes and off shots to the side of the road. Install signage to meet Main Roads specifications. Removal of some vegetation.Total cost of proposed project is $110,054
Jayes Bridgetown Road (Rural Road) - 104293-19WA-RTR
Routine 5-year timber bridge maintenance is due on this bridge.Maintenance will be carried out according to Main Roads WA Timber Bridge Preventative Maintenance Standards (document # 6706-02-2226). Primary works include Timber end-grain sealing, Fastener maintenance, fungicide treatment. The height of the bridge requires a river barge and specialist under-bridge scaffolding to enable the work to be carried out.
Croppa Creek Road (Rural Road) - 104341-19NSW-RTR
Shoulder reconstruction both sides, rutting and shoving, longitudinal crackingFull rehabilitation of sealed shoulders both sidesTotal cost of proposed project is $255,000
