Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Weaver Place, South Hedland - 126599-23WA-RTR
Extensive cracking and potholes. Road due for reseal to protect the underlying pavement.Supply, delivery and laying of asphalt.Total cost of proposed project is $63,600
Becks Road, Freemans Waterhole - 053142-14NSW-RTR
Becks Road Freemans Waterhole between Freemans Drive and the end of the formed road is currently unsealed. The continual grading has created drainage and erosion issues for adjoining properties, and created litigation issues with property owners.Reconstruct and seal gravel road with drainage system improvements. Stage 1 of the project is for the initial 730 metres of the road. Stage 2 is the final 700 metres.Total cost of proposed project is $1,612,752
Victoria Street, Trentham - 126679-23VIC-RTR
Pavement is delipidated, drainage is poor, lane width is not consistent and there are no compliant footpath connections across the road.Digout poor pavement and top up to suit new kerb, asphalt overlay intersection and narrow shoulders. Build new kerb and footpath crossing points.
Wallace Road, Inkerman - 126614-23QLD-RTR
Pavement failures and limited space for heavy vehicles.Reconstruct and widen intersection and approaches on Wallace Road and Peak Road.Total cost of proposed project is $320,000
Golspie Road, (rural road) - 126620-23NSW-RTR
Lack of gravel, surface rutting, poor shape and inadequate drainage.It is proposed to rectify the problems with this section of road by installing additional mitre drains and cleaning the existing drains. The road will then be trimmed and re-shaped. Following this new gravel will be imported, spread and compacted. The road will then be trimmed to its final shape.

Road lacking in gravel material.Resheeting gravel section of road.
Gregson Street, Gloucester - 126672-23NSW-RTR
Existing pavement has deteriorated with extensive surface defects, pot holing and localised defects causing increased risk to road users.Provision of new pavement with a bitumen wearing surface and drainage improvements.Total cost of proposed project is $480,000
McMasters Road, Upper Freestone - 126675-23QLD-RTR
Road lacking in gravel material.Resheeting gravel section of road.Total cost of proposed project is $70,000
Brennans Lane, Wombat - 126682-23NSW-RTR
Causeway is Continually damaged when prolonged rain occurs. The current causeway is unpassable during periods of heavy rain this is affecting residents from access.Construct a concrete spillway at the causeway to allow the increased water to spill over the concrete and leave the road in a safe and passible condition.
Emu Swamp Road, Somme - 126687-23QLD-RTR
Bitumen road surface has cracks appearing in the sealed surface due to ageing allowing water ingress into the pavement.Bitumen resealing to prevent water ingress and extend the serviceable life of the road asset.Total cost of proposed project is $117,927
