Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cudgegong Road (Rural Road) - 128280-24NSW-RTR
The road formation and seal is narrow and the road pavement is in poor condition with seal cracking, edge drops and potholes an ongoing problem. Rehabilitation of the road to widen and strengthen the pavement, providing an 8 m seal on a 9 m pavement and good drainage throughout. The balance is funded by council from Unrestricted cash.
Toodyay Bindi Bindi Road, Yerecoin - 127930-24WA-RTR
120 m2 section of road needs to be reconstructed due to failure. Reseal failed section using cement stabilising 14/10 aggregate two coat seal.
Quandong Road, Grenfell - 128332-24NSW-RTR
Severe road degradation coupled with potholes which is stopping school bus from using this route. Rip up and re-sheet road and provide new crown including maintenance grade any areas that are not so badly damaged.
Goudge Road (Rural Road) - 127924-24WA-RTR
Clearing overhanging road vegetation where currently two way traffic cannot pass each other without one giving way. Sections are also a school bus route. Clearing horizontal and vertical vegetation with specialist machinery for full length of Goudge Rd - 11.3 km.
Horton Road (Rural Road) - 053326-14NSW-RTR
Gravel pavement thickness has been significantly reduced by traffic and weather making the road slippery during wet weather.Form existing foundations and place 150mm of compact gravel to create an all weather wearing surface including drainage works.
Bolgart East Road, Bolgart - 127926-24WA-RTR
Road seal has reached the end of its useful life and needs renewing/refreshing. 14 mm S45 two coat seal for section 0.01 to 1.00 km.
Poincare Street, Bolgart - 127927-24WA-RTR
Road seal has reached end of life and requires resealing to renew and extend life. 10 mm S45 single coat seal for straight line kilometre section 0.00 - 0.75.
New Norcia Road, Calingiri - 127929-24WA-RTR
Portions of road need reconstruction due to failure from general wear and tear and weather events. Reseal failed sections using cement stabilising using 14-10 aggregate two coat seal.
Yeriminup Rd (Rural Road) - 127349-24WA-RTR
This section of road is currently sealed to a width of 5 m, which is particularly narrow for traversing heavy vehicles. Verge canopy is overgrown. Widening existing seal from 5 m to 7 m and forming 1.5 m shoulders to improve safety. Remove debris, clean drains, extend culverts, replace guide posts and widen bitumen edges.
Toodyay - Bindi Bindi Road, Calingiri - 127923-24WA-RTR
Bitumen is breaking away from road edge causing road to narrow in sections. this work will restore the width of the road to original specifications. Edge patching adding 150 mm width to the road edge on each side of the road sections as required totalling 3.5 km within the 20 km nominated section.
