Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Cumberland Street, Georgetown - 129102-24QLD-RTR
The existing seal area has several cracks and impacting the road structure.Resealing on 300 m x 15 m wide.
Charlotte Street, Cooktown - 129126-24QLD-RTR
The existing asphalt layer is old and deteriorated with several fatigue and crocodile crack resulting into pavement problems, potholes and safety issues and is due for resurfacing.Milling and profiling of existing/old asphalt layer and laying a new asphalt layer with PMB binder to better resist the heavy traffic load, stress and fatigue.
Salisbury Street, Wangaratta - 129128-24VIC-RTR
As apart of the Annual Road Pavement Rehabilitation Program, this section of Salisbury Road needs upgrading and was identified for pavement reconstruction, upgrading road drainage, providing property access and concrete footpath.The section of Salisbury Street to be reconstructed between Burke Street and Cribbes Road and contains a T intersection with Jackel Street on the western side. Work involves reconstruction of road pavement, concrete kerb and channel, concrete driveways, concrete pram ramp and footpath installation, asphalt paving and drainage works.Total cost of proposed project is $502,700
Calcup Road (Rural Road) - 129143-24WA-RTR
The existing section of the road has no gravel therefore has corrugations in summer and is slippery and has potholes in winter.Form the existing road surface to 6 per cent cross falls then import and compact gravel to form a 100 millimetre thick layer.
Dingup Road (Rural Road) - 129142-24WA-RTR
Sections of the road have little or no gravel which results in potholes on winter and corrugations in summer.Form the existing surface to 6 per cent cross falls, import and compact gravel to form a 100 millimetre thick pavement layer.
Kennedy Street - 053429-14WA-RTR
Kennedy Street was designed and constructed in 1986. The road requires reconstruction to improve pedestrian and traffic safety, traffic movement, alignment, base and surface rehabilitation. The reconstruction will allow for increases in road usage providing safer, simpler and more effective road layout.Road works on Kennedy Street SLK start point 0.650 to end point SLK 0.700 includes demolition, replacement of the base and surface, kerbing and signage. Excavation.
Ipsen Street, Manjimup - 129141-24WA-RTR
The existing seal is very old, flushed, uneven and potholes form often.Use correcting asphalt to fill low spots of the road then place an asphalt overlay.
Nockolds Street, Walpole - 129139-24WA-RTR
The existing seal is very old and uneven with many sections that hold water from rain and potholes are common.Use asphalt corrector to fill uneven sections then place an asphalt overlay on the road.
Seven Day Road (Rural Road) - 129135-24WA-RTR
The existing seal is in poor condition with a flushed surface and many potholes. On two sections the subgrade has failed causing very deep rutting.At the failing sections box out the poor material, form a reinforced concrete raft then place gravel over the concrete and a sprayed primer seal prior to resealing over the longer section of the road.
Perup Road (Rural Road) - 129134-24WA-RTR
The existing seal is in very poor condition with many cracks, stripping of the existing aggregate and potholes often forming.Place a reseal to maintain the seal as water tight as possible.
