Australian Privacy Principle 5 Notice

Your submission, including any personal information supplied, is being collected by the department for the purpose of seeking public and industry comment on the approach and content of its proposed cost estimation guidance, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Privacy Act).

Your personal information will be stored securely by the department. It may be used by the department to make further contact with you about the consultation process. Your personal information will not be disclosed to any other third parties, except in the circumstances outlined below.

Submissions, in part or full, including the name of the author may be published on the department's website or in the Government's response, unless the submission is confidential. Confidential submissions (including author name) will not be published. Private addresses and contact details will not be published or disclosed to any third parties unless required by law.

Submissions will only be treated as confidential if they are expressly stated to be confidential. Automatically generated confidentiality statements or disclaimers appended to an email do not suffice for this purpose. If you wish you make a confidential submission, you should indicate this by ensuring your submission is marked confidential.

Confidential submissions will be kept securely and will only be disclosed in the following circumstances:

  • in response to a request by a Commonwealth Minister;
  • where required by a House or a Committee of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia; or where required by law.

The department may also disclose confidential submissions within the Commonwealth of Australia, including with other Commonwealth agencies, where necessary in the public interest.

Please note that in order to protect the personal privacy of individuals in accordance with the Privacy Act any submissions containing sensitive information, personal information or information which may reasonably be used to identify a person or group of people may not be published, even if not marked as confidential.

Natone Road and Upper Natone Road (Rural Road) - 130180-24TAS-RTR
Seal has expired and has failed in places.Replace the seal. Council funding project balance.Total cost of proposed project is $270,092
Morbinning Road (Rural Road) - 129958-24WA-RTR
This section of road was upgraded to a seven metre seal in 2023/2024. The road requires a final seal with 14 mm stone.The final seal on last years primer seal. This section will be sealed to a width of 7 metres with 14 mm stone and scatter 7 mm stone.
Waterhatch Road (Rural Road) - 129957-24WA-RTR
This section of road was upgraded to a seven metre seal in 2023/2024. The surface requires a final seal.The final seal on last year's primer seal. This section will be sealed to a width of 7 metres with 14 mm stone and scatter 7 mm stone.
Riverside Road, East Fremantle - 129191-24WA-RTR
Structural cracking, rutting and patching is in need of replacement, which is likely caused by the failure of the base course.Road reconstruction, including removing approximately 200 mm of base course, replacement with bitumen stabilised base material, kerb replacement, and final wearing course replacement 40 mm of dense grade asphalt. Balance of project funding from Main Roads WA.Total cost of proposed project is $494,453
Fitzgerald Road (Rural Road) - 129961-24WA-RTR
Heavily trafficked by road trains to access the Co-operative Bulk Handling (CBH) grain receival bulkheads at the east end of Fitzgerald Road, which is causing extreme corrugation in the gravel road with very frequent occurrence during the harvest period.The entire length of the gravel road will be ripped and reconstructed to prepare for a new two-coat bitumen seal using 7 mm and 14 mm aggregate. Guideposts will be placed/replaced along the entire length of the road. Additional asphalting of intersections at SLK 0.41 (intersection with CBH access) and SLK 9.76 (intersection with Long Creek Road).
Great Central Road (Rural road) - 130178-24WA-RTR
Routine maintenance grading to ensure access to remote Aboriginal communities.Routine maintenance grading. Works to include road reformation, the remediation of holes and corrugation. Material is imported as required.
Haynes Road, Adelaide River - 129934-24NT-RTR
Strengthening a rural collector road for heavy vehicle access, improving carrying capacity and stabilization of gravel surface for 2.8 km.Re-sheeting the 2.8 km of unsealed gravel road of Haynes Road, Adelaide River. The work will commence at the end of the sealed section and terminate at where the road meets the Adelaide River.
Strickland Road (Rural Road) - 129933-24NT-RTR
Strengthening an existing gravel rural collector road for heavy vehicle access, improving carrying capacity and stabilization of gravel surface for 4 kilometres and improving the amenity of the adjoining residential areas.Re-sheet, wet and roll with stabilisation additive 4 km of existing gravel road.
Harcourt St, Nathalia - 053603-14VIC-RTR
Kerb and Channel has failed, causing moisture to enter the pavement which has also caused major pavement failures.Replace kerb and channel on west side and reconstruct the road pavement.
Box Ridge Road (Rural Road) - 130183-24NSW-RTR
The existing concrete causeway is severely cracked and potholed.Replace existing concrete structure with reinforced concrete structure.
